There’s snow place like home, and The Snowman returns for it’s 28th year at the Peacock Theatre this Christmas.
When a young boy’s snowman comes to life on Christmas Eve, the two set off on a night-time quest for adventure. On their travels they meet dancing penguins, reindeer and of course, Father Christmas. Watch spellbound as the Snowman flies through the night sky, before escaping the clutches of the evil Jack Frost to return home for Christmas morning.

Based on Raymond Briggs’ classic book and film the live show includes Howard Blake’s Walking In the Air, performed by a live band, choreographed by Robert North and directed by Bill Alexander, this is the perfect Christmas treat for all the family with its wonderful mix of storytelling, spectacle and magic.
Running time: 1 hr 50 mins (including one 20 min interval)
Suitable for all ages. Children aged 2 and above require a ticket.

Q: Email states suitabke for 2+ but on website 5+. I have a 2 and a 4 year old would it be suitable? We ar ein north wales di you have something similar which is closer coming uo. My daughter loves the snowman

A: Hi Heather, no child is too young - most children in the audience are aged 0-4. Parents tell us that children of all ages enjoy the show. If your child enjoys the TV show, then they’ll love the live show too! Currently we don't have anything scheduled to go to Wales but Peppa Pig is going to Telford at the start of October if that isn't too far from you.
