Calling all budding young vets this half term!
From 15 - 23 Feb children are invited to put their animal care skills to the test and experience first-hand what it takes to be a vet, with the return of Vets in Action at both ZSL’s London Zoo this half term.
For your best chance to take part turn up early from 16 Feb onwards. 15 Feb will be mainly for ZSL members, but spaces for Vets in Action will allocated on a first-come-first-served basis from 16 Feb.
Reporting for duty at the specially created animal hospital, junior vets will help examine and carry out treatments on soft toys in the Zoo’s hands-on vet clinics, experiencing the huge variety of work carried out by vets, vet nurses and zookeepers.
Leaving the stethoscopes behind, demonstrations and activities throughout the week will take families further around the Zoos. Vets in Action is included in the Zoo entry price.
